At The Wapiti Players League (hereafter referred to as “WPL”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, "the league"), we take the privacy of our members and participants seriously. This Privacy Policy explains the types of personal information that the League collects, how the League uses that information, and the steps the League takes to protect the privacy of that information. The WPL, a Not-for-Profit adult recreational hockey league (“the League”), is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of its users.
Collection of Personal Information
WPL may collect personal information from members and participants through various means, including but not limited to, registration forms, surveys, and email communications. This information may include, but is not limited to, name, address, phone number, email address, postal codes and age.
Use of Personal Information
The personal information that we collect is used to provide members and participants with information about league activities, events, and updates. WPL may also use this information to communicate with members and participants regarding league related matters, to respond to inquiries and to improve our services.
Sharing of Personal Information
WPL will not sell or rent personal information to any third party. However, WPL may share personal information with its affiliated organizations, or as required by law. In addition, WPL may be required to share personal information with the County of Grande Prairie for the purpose of maintaining records, complying with legal requirements, and for tax and other reporting purposes.

WPL takes reasonable measures to protect the personal information that we collect from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, the League cannot guarantee the security of the information, and users provide their information at their own risk.
Access to Personal Information
Members and participants have the right to access their personal information that is in our possession and to request changes to that information if it is inaccurate. To request access to your personal information, please contact us in writing. Users may request access to their personal information that is held by the League, and may request that the League correct any inaccuracies in that information.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
The WPL reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and will post any changes to the policy on its website. Your continued use of the website and its services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
